About OptOutReady

California built a deletion machine. Every 45 days, forever, the state hands its 581 registered data brokers a fresh list of people who no longer want to be sold, and expects a flawless response: matched, deleted, reported, on time, every single cycle. The larger firms have a privacy team for that. The small ones, three to forty people reselling data they didn't collect, don't. Somebody still has to run the round on schedule, or the exposure just sits there accumulating at $200 a day per missed request. I built OptOutReady to be that job, done as a service.

How we work

Each round, the state's list gets matched against your records right where they live, and your team gets a plain list of who to delete. I draft and send the vendor notices the law requires, file your report with the state, and keep a written record of every step, so when anyone ever asks how a cycle was run, the answer is already in the file. Your lawyer approves the ground rules once: whether the law covers you, and which records other laws make you keep. After that, the rounds run without them.

What we never do

I don't give legal advice. I don't tell you that you're compliant; no honest operator can, and anyone who tells you otherwise should worry you. I don't cover statutory fines. And I don't take on clients whose business model is evasion, or whose data nobody should be selling in the first place. I decline that work, and I'll tell you so plainly if that's what you're asking me to do.
